In Nancy’s upbringing, confections played a significant role. Both of her grandfathers had a fondness for sweets - one operated an ice cream shop named The Big Scoop, while the other was a beekeeper. Although the family business has transitioned from a freezer and beehives, to the stove, the fundamental philosophy persists: when it comes to desserts, more is always better. Nancy firmly believes that cookies complement any occasion, especially when paired with a generous glass of milk.
From studying ‘Home Ec’ in high school to attending culinary classes in Europe, she has acquired the moniker Fancy Nancy. The reasons behind this nickname, however, are something you’ll have to discover for yourself.
